Carolina Panthers are missing running back Christian McCaffrey after trading him to the San Francisco 49ers, but the team would still not be very good with McCaffrey on the roster. Tim Donnelly points out that while Bryce Young would benefit for Christian McCaffrey, the Panthers did the right thing by trading CMC.

The Carolina Panthers need to be sellers at the 2023 NFL trade deadline, and GM Scott Fitterer and owner David Tepper need to be active now to ensure that teams don't go after other available players. Brian Burns, Jeremy Chinn, Terrace Marshall Jr., Frankie Luvu, Donte Jackson, and others who don't directly help Bryce Young right now should all be considered for trades.
