Tim Donnelly says that the Carolina Hurricanes still need to address their goalie situation because there are too many unknowns with Freddie Andersen dealing with blood clotting issues, and with Pyotr Kochetkov in NHL concussion protocol. Donnelly says that the Hurricanes are one bad injury away with Antti Raanta to having to turn to Yaniv Perets, who just made his NHL debut against the LA Kings in relief for Raanta.
