Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss Urban Meyer turning down GM job and some potential issues in college football.

Urban Meyer confirmed he was approached by a college football program to take on a new GM-style role to oversee recruitment and NIL negotiations. On his podcast, Meyer revealed that “a school came to see me this year and ask if I wanted to be the GM,” and he even sat down to discuss. However, after hearing the responsibilities, he immediately declined, quipping “I’d rather step on a rusty nail and pull it out myself.”

Did Meyer make a mistake? Should he have taken the job? What is going on in college football? What problems exist?
