Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss the passionate Spurs–Timberwolves playoff series after Victor Wembanyama’s controversial ejection in Game 4, whether the NBA should suspend the Spurs superstar and if San Antonio can still survive the series without him. They also break down the Knicks’ dominant sweep of the Sixers, how dangerous New York looks heading into the Eastern Conference Finals and whether Jalen Brunson and company have what it takes to make a run to the NBA Finals.
The Western Conference semifinal series between the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves has turned into one of the most intense matchups of the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In Game 4 last night, the Timberwolves defeated the Spurs 114-109 to even the series at 2-2, thanks to a huge performance from Anthony Edwards, who scored 36 points and dominated the fourth quarter. A major turning point came early in the second quarter when Victor Wembanyama was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul after elbowing Minnesota’s Naz Reid during a rebound battle. Despite losing their star player, San Antonio stayed competitive behind strong games from De'Aaron Fox and rookie Dylan Harper, but poor three-point shooting and Minnesota’s late-game execution allowed the Wolves to close out the win. Should Wembanyama face a suspension? Can the Spurs win this series without Wemby?
The New York Knicks dominated the Philadelphia 76ers as the Knicks swept the Sixers 4-0 in the 2026 Eastern Conference semifinals. Led by strong performances from Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Miles McBride and Karl-Anthony Towns, the Knicks consistently outplayed Philadelphia with efficient three-point shooting, aggressive defense and dominant rebounding. The Sixers struggled to keep up despite efforts from Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George. In Game 4, New York capped off the series with a 144-114 victory while tying an NBA playoff record with 25 made three-pointers, securing a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. How good are the Knicks? Can they go to the NBA Finals?
