The Seattle Mariners had a breakthrough 2025 season, clinching the American League West division title for the first time since 2001 and securing a postseason berth for the first time since 2022. The team advanced all the way to the American League Championship Series (ALCS), their first appearance there in over two decades. While their playoff run was impressive, it ended in heartbreak as they lost in a seven-game series to the Toronto Blue Jays, falling just short of their first-ever World Series appearance.
