This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features a high-stakes AFC East showdown between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. Will you be watching this game?
Last night in the WNBA Playoffs, two first-round series were extended to decisive Game 3s after impressive performances by underdog teams. The Indiana Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream 77-60, securing their first playoff win since 2015. Meanwhile, the Seattle Storm pulled off a major upset by beating the defending champion Las Vegas Aces 86-83 to steal the win. With both wins, Indiana and Seattle have pushed their respective series to winner-take-all Game 3s, setting the stage for high-stakes matchups.
Tonight’s WNBA Playoff action features two pivotal Game 2 matchups. The New York Liberty will host the Phoenix Mercury at 8:00 PM ET, with the Liberty looking to close out the series after a dramatic overtime win in Game 1. However, New York may be without star forward Breanna Stewart, who is questionable due to a knee injury. Later in the evening, the Minnesota Lynx travel to face the Golden State Valkyries at 10:00 PM ET. Minnesota will look to sweep the series, while the Valkyries hope to bounce back and force a deciding Game 3.
After a 1-2 start to the 2025 season with losses to LSU and Georgia Tech, Dabo Swinney responded to growing criticism of the program. He defended Clemson’s decade of success—including multiple ACC titles and national championships—and dismissed critics as fair-weather fans. Swinney insisted the struggles are temporary, not a sign of decline, and emphasized that Clemson is “built to last.” He also challenged the idea that the program should be held to a standard of perfection, saying, “If they’re tired of winning, they can send me on my way.” Clemson's next football game is scheduled for this Saturday, September 20, 2025, when they will host the Syracuse Orange at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. If Clemson loses again, what does that mean for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers?
