Pam, Hump and Alex discuss the James Franklin firing, Alabama winning and more.

James Franklin was fired as head coach of Penn State over the weekend following the team’s third consecutive loss. Despite compiling a strong overall record of 104-45 during his tenure and leading the Nittany Lions to a recent College Football Playoff appearance, the program's continued struggles this season ultimately led to his dismissal. In the wake of the decision, Penn State named associate head coach Terry Smith as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season. What does this mean for Penn State and James Franklin?

The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Missouri Tigers 27–24 in a tightly contested SEC matchup on Saturday, handing the Tigers their first home loss in over two years. Quarterback Ty Simpson led the Crimson Tide throwing for around 200 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Jam Miller contributed 85 rushing yards before exiting with a concussion. Alabama’s defense stepped up in key moments, forcing turnovers and preventing Missouri from capitalizing on late opportunities. The win marked Alabama’s third straight over a ranked SEC opponent and extended their unbeaten streak against Missouri to seven games. Alabama also moved up in the AP College Football Poll. Is Alabama back?
