NC State's Aziaha James Scores Career-High 36 Points In Win Over Duke

Aziaha James scored a career-high 36 points to help the No. 14 N.C. State Lady Wolfpack beat No. 10 Duke 89-83 last night. James made 15 of 19 shots to go with 6 rebounds and the win for the Wolfpack. This was the annual Play 4 Kay game in honor of late Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Nearly $478,000 was raised on the court bearing Yow's name.
North Carolina men's basketball coach Hubert Davis announced on his weekly radio show that his program needs to evolve off the court. Davis acknowledged that the Tar Heels' staff must be expanded, including the hiring of a general manager.
