The NC State Wolfpack had an impressive showing this weekend, defeating the No. 8-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 48-36 in a high-scoring upset victory. The win marked one of NC State’s most complete performances of the season, as the offense clicked from start to finish. Quarterback CJ Bailey led the way with an efficient passing display, throwing for multiple touchdowns while spreading the ball around to several receivers. The Wolfpack’s rushing attack also found success, consistently moving the chains and keeping Georgia Tech’s defense on its heels.
With the victory, NC State not only handed Georgia Tech its first loss of the season but also bolstered its own bowl hopes and made a strong statement heading into the final stretch of ACC play. NC State is now 5-4 and sits in 8th place in the ACC. The Wolfpack has not won the ACC in decades. Is this good enough for NC State or should they want more?
