No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa and the Washington Wizards edged No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson and the Utah Jazz, 92-88. Dybantsa finished with 27 points and seven rebounds in his professional debut, while Peterson finished with 24 points despite facing constant double teams and committing eight turnovers. The Warriors knocked off the Mavericks 101-90. Despite the loss, Mavericks rookie Morez Johnson Jr. turned heads with an impressive 27-point, eight-rebound performance.
