The Phoenix Suns traded Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets in a blockbuster deal yesterday. The trade sees Houston acquiring the 36-year-old Durant in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, and five 2nd-round picks. His departure ends a two-year tenure in Phoenix where, despite strong individual performances, the Suns never got past the second round of the NBA playoffs. After finishing 2nd in the Western Conference last season, Houston sought a proven scorer and leader to push them over the top. Kevin Durant, who averaged 26.6 points per game in 2024–25, brings exactly that. But how good will Houston be this coming season?
