In one of the biggest headlines of the day, the Dallas Mavericks traded 10-time All-Star Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards as part of a large transaction that included Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell, and Dante Exum heading to Washington. In return, Dallas received Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, two first-round picks and three second-round picks as they pivot toward rebuilding around young talent and draft assets.

The Duke Blue Devils vs. North Carolina Tar Heels matchup takes place this weekend, Saturday, February 7, 2026 and is one of the most anticipated games of the college basketball season. It’ll take place at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill.
