In the 2 First Four games of the 2026 Men’s NCAA Tournament played last night, the Miami RedHawks defeated the SMU Mustangs 89-79. Miami was led by Eian Elmer, who scored 22 points to help secure the victory and advance the team into the full tournament bracket. In the other First Four matchup, the Prairie View A&M Panthers beat the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 67-55. Prairie View A&M overcame a halftime deficit with a strong second half, highlighted by 25 points from Dontae Horne, earning the program its first NCAA Tournament win in history. Both Miami RedHawks and Prairie View A&M now move on to face seeded opponents in the Round of 64 this weekend as part of March Madness.
