Antonio McBroom is a 2026 Salute To Champions Recipient! McBroom is an American entrepreneur and business leader best known as the founder and CEO of PRIMO Partners, the largest Ben & Jerry’s franchise ownership group in the United States and a pioneering Black-owned, Black-led franchise organization. Raised in rural North Carolina, McBroom began his journey as a Ben & Jerry’s scooper while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and in 2008, just before graduating, he purchased his first store, becoming the youngest franchisee in the company’s history. He went on to scale that single location into a multi-unit, multi-brand enterprise with operations spanning numerous Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops and other major brands across the Southeast.

Under his leadership, PRIMO Partners has earned national recognition for operational excellence and community impact, while McBroom himself has become a strong advocate for equity, mentorship, and economic opportunity. In 2025, he released his first book, The Self•ish Servant: Inspirational Lessons from a Visionary CEO to Create Extra-Ordinary Life, sharing leadership insights drawn from his personal and professional journey.
