Good Look Bad Look Monday - Duke, UNC, Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez

Reese, Pam and Alex share their Good Looks and Bad Looks on this Good Look Bad Look Monday.

Terence “Bud” Crawford defeated Canelo Álvarez by unanimous decision Saturday night in a historic fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The judges scored the bout 116–112, 115–113, and 115–113 in Crawford’s favor, capping off a disciplined and tactical performance that saw him outbox one of the sport’s biggest stars. With the victory, Crawford claimed the undisputed super middleweight championship, making history as the first male boxer to become undisputed champion in three different weight classes. After the fight, Alvarez said, “I think Crawford is way better than Floyd Mayweather.” Is Alvarez right?

The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 44-41 in overtime this past weekend. Tennessee came out hot, building a 21-7 lead in the first quarter behind quarterback Joey Aguilar, who threw for 371 yards and four touchdowns. Tennessee had a chance to win it in regulation, but a costly false start penalty pushed back a 38-yard field goal attempt to 43 yards — which the Vols missed with just seconds remaining. In overtime, Tennessee managed only a field goal on its opening drive. Georgia then sealed the win with a 1-yard touchdown run by Josh McCray, completing the comeback and stunning the Knoxville crowd. It was a heartbreaking loss for Tennessee, who led most of the game, while Georgia improved to 7–2 with a gutsy performance under pressure. What else happened in college football?
