The Charlotte Hornets captured their first-ever NBA Summer League title this weekend in Las Vegas. They finished the tournament with an impressive 6–0 record, defeating the Sacramento Kings 83–78 in the championship game last night. Kon Knueppel, Charlotte’s 4th overall pick, led the charge with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, earning MVP honors for the title game.
