The Detroit Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys 44-30 on Thursday Night Football in last night’s matchup, improving to 8-5 and strengthening their playoff position, while Dallas dropped to 6-6-1. Detroit’s offense was dominant, led by Jahmyr Gibbs, who scored three rushing touchdowns, including a late fourth-quarter clincher. Last night, Gibbs tied NFL legend Barry Sanders for most career touchdowns before age 24. The Lions also capitalized on two turnovers that they converted into touchdowns.
