Blue Jays Take 3–2 Lead, Crush Dodgers 6-1 to Move Closer To World Series Title

Reese, Pam and Alex discuss the Blue Jays win over the Dodgers.

The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-1 last night, moving one step closer to a World Series title. Toronto jumped out to an early lead when Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit back-to-back home runs on the first and third pitches of the game, setting an aggressive tone that the Dodgers never recovered from. Rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage delivered a dominant performance for the Blue Jays, striking out 12 batters to set a postseason rookie record and completely silencing the Dodgers’ offense. Los Angeles struggled to generate any momentum, managing just one run as Toronto’s pitching and early power display put the game out of reach. With the win, the Blue Jays now have a commanding 3-2 lead in the series. The Dodgers face elimination tomorrow night. Can Los Angeles force a Game 7?
