Atlanta Falcons Hire Raheem Morris As New Head Coach

Morris returns to Atlanta after three seasons as the Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator but, this is not his first time in Atlanta. Morris was in Atlanta for about five years serving as a defensive coordinator, among other jobs. On Oct. 12, 2020, Morris was named the Falcons interim head coach a day after the Falcons parted ways with Dan Quinn.

With this hire, Morris makes history as the first Black full-time head coach in franchise history and the Falcons' 19th head coach.
