Quarterback Ty Simpson led the Crimson Tide throwing for around 200 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Jam Miller contributed 85 rushing yards before exiting with a concussion. Alabama’s defense stepped up in key moments, forcing turnovers and preventing Missouri from capitalizing on late opportunities. The win marked Alabama’s third straight over a ranked SEC opponent and extended their unbeaten streak against Missouri to seven games. Alabama also moved up in the AP College Football Poll. The Carolina Panthers pulled off a thrilling 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. Running back Rico Dowdle, facing his former team, was the star of the game with a franchise-record 239 scrimmage yards, rushing for 183 and adding 56 receiving yards with a touchdown. Quarterback Bryce Young was efficient, throwing for 199 yards and three touchdowns while leading a clutch fourth-quarter drive that sealed the game.

James Franklin was fired as head coach of Penn State over the weekend following the team’s third consecutive loss.
