Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 34-24 as part of the College Football Playoff first round. Alabama came back after trailing by 17 points, scoring 27 unanswered points to secure the win. With the victory, the Crimson Tide advanced to the next round of the CFP where they will play Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers on New Year’s Day.
