Erroll Reese is a Hall of Fame football player and a computer science graduate from Alabama A&M University. Reese is also a graduate from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. A former IBM executive and owner of tech firm EWI Technologies, Reese started his venture at Capitol Broadcasting Company in Raleigh on Saturdays. Three years later, his show found a home in the weekday lineup on CBC Sports Radio. In 2016, The Sports Shop with Reese & KMac was elevated to morning drive on The Buzz Sports Radio.​

In addition to his work in radio, Reese owns tech firms SpokeHub and Concierge Logic. In his free time, Reese is a musician and show tunes enthusiast. Reese lends his name and support to several nonprofit groups in the Triangle area of North Carolina, including Communities in Schools of Durham, Bridge 2 Sports, The Phil Ford Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center and The Banks Foundation. Most recently, Reese is a 2024 recipient of President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from North Carolina Central University.
