Iced Tea host Meghan Lamontagne brings her own perspective to the show. In addition to her on-air role as mid-day host on MIX 101.5, Meghan is also the in-arena host for all home Hurricanes games.
Meghan moved to Raleigh five years ago. She grew up in New Hampshire as a devoted New England Patriots fan. “I‘ve seen how the love of a team brings a community together. In North Carolina, everyone has an allegiance when it comes to college basketball. That’s not an easy fandom to join, if you’re not from here, but the love for the Hurricanes is everywhere. Working with the Canes gives me a sense of belonging and Caniac nation has quickly become my family.”
From her vantage point as in-arena host at Lenovo Center she sees the details that make the Hurricanes successful. “What happens on the ice is the outcome of the hard work and dedication of so many people behind the scenes. Those are the stories I want to explore—from the pre-game rituals to the post game meals,” Meghan says.
