Jordan Staal's 2 goals help Carolina beat Pittsburgh in OT, 3-2
Coming off the 4-0 snoozer in Washington the Hurricanes needed a quick start against the Penguins. Well, that isn't what they got. But, from the second period on, Jordan Staal and company went to work. The captain scored twice and then turned it over to Andrei Svechnikov and the Canes power play in overtime. Carolina has now beaten the Penguins twice in the last 12 days and they widen their lead in the Metropolitan Division.
