Martin Necas hadn't scored a goal in nearly two months. But, his whirling shot past a sprawling Philipp Grubauer put the Hurricanes in front 3-2 and they went on to beat the Seattle Kraken at PNC Arena. Nino Niederreiter and Teuvo Teravainen scored power play goals in the 2nd period for the Canes. For Nino, it was his 17th of the year, while Teravainen, playing in his 500th NHL game, it was his 16th of the season, Antti Raanta made 28 saves earning his second win in as many starts. Carolina is off until Thursday when they meet the Colorado Avalanche in Raleigh.
