The Carolina Hurricanes dropped their third straight game, losing to Washington, 4-3, in a shootout. On the bright side, Seth Jarvis scored twice, his first goals in nearly two months. On the down side, the Canes have yet to beat the Capitals this season, and with a potential playoff match up with Washington it would be a good idea if they did, once. They'll meet a week from Monday to wrap up the season series.
