The Carolina Hurricanes beat the New York Islanders Sunday, running their winning streak to four games and opening up a 4-point lead in the Metropolitan Division. However, not all the news is good as they also lost goaltender Antti Raanta to an injury in the 2nd period. While Pyotr Kochetkov played well, winning for the second straight time, he might have to be the starting goaltender when the Hurricanes open up their Stanley Cup playoff run. Max Domi netted the game-winner, and Seth Jarvis scored for the 9th time in his last 19 games.
