Carolina beat Boston, 3-2, on the road on Wednesday and are now just 2 points behind the Rangers in the Metro. Jordan Staal's deflection goal came 25 seconds after Teravainen's 2nd period power play tally and snapped a 14 game goal-scoring drought for the captain.
