Carolina Hurricanes: Staal and Slavin lead Canes past Pens, 4-3 in overtime

Staal ties it late in the 3rd, Slavin wins it early in OT as Canes beat Pittsburgh -- again.
The Hurricanes stretched their point streak to 13 games with a 4-3 OT win over the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Jordan Staal's wrap around goal with less than five minutes left in regulation helped send the game into OT. And, once there, Jaccob Slavin finished off a great pass from Seth Jarvis for the win. On the play, Brent Burns recorded the 800th point in his career. In all, Carolina got two goals and four assists from the blue line including Jalen Chatfield's first. Chatfield was bumped up in the lineup due to the absence of Brady Skjei who missed the game for personal reasons. That also allowed Dylan Coghlan to jump back into the team and he posted a pair of assists. The Hurricanes will host the Flyers Friday night at PNC Arena.
