Power play leads Canes to 3-2 win over Flames
The Carolina Hurricanes rode their power play to a 3-2 win over Calgary Saturday night, snapping a 5-game losing streak. The 5 game winless stretch tied the longest in the Rod Brind'Amour regime as head coach. Seth Jarvis broke an 11-game goal scoring drought and Martin Necas and Brett Pesce scored on the power play which now has 4 goals in their last two games. For Pesce, it was his first goal of the season and it was the game winner at 8:46 of the third period. Antti Raanta made 18 saves in the win, his first since November 4 against the Sabres. The Canes start a 6-game road trip Tuesday in Pittsburgh.
