Brett Pesce waited 22 games before he scored his first of the year, helping the Canes to beat Calgary, 3-2, on Saturday. That was so much fun, he decided to do it again, converting an Andrei Svechnikov feed into the OT winner as Carolina won for the second straight game, 3-2. Martin Necas (11th) and Svechnikov (14th) each scored, Sebastian Aho dished off a pair of assists. And, Carolina overcame the downer of Jake Guentzel's game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation to win their second in a row. The Hurricanes will try to make this a winning streak in St. Louis on Thursday
