Canes shut out, 3-0, by the Panthers
The Hurricanes suffered their first shutout defeat of the season tonight, 3-0, at the hands of the Florida Panthers. The Canes finally got great goaltending -- this time from Antti Raanta -- but couldn't support it with any offense. Carolina has now gone 111:49 without a goal dating back to the first period against Toronto.
