Jake Walman scored with less than 4 seconds left in the 3rd period sending the Hurricanes to their 3rd straight loss.  Carolina's lead in the Metropolitan Division is down to 1 as the Devils defeated the Rangers, 2-1.  Brent Burns and Jaccob Slavin scored 3:36 apart early in the second period to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead.  But, just 3 minutes later, with Martin Necas in the penalty box for hooking, Dylan Larkin scored on the power play to bring the game even. The Canes were 0 for 3 on their own power play.  Carolina will play at Montreal Saturday night.
