Canes beat Flyers, 4-1, win 5th straight

Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov each had a goal and an assist and Pyotr Kochetkov made 18 saves for his 3rd win of the season in the Canes 4-1 win over the Flyers. Svechnikov's 4th goal of the season came midway through the second period and gave the Hurricanes a 1-0 lead. shayne Gostisbehere's 2nd of the year, off a gorgeous pass from Aho, doubled the lead about 3 1/2 minutes later. Aho capped a 3-goal 2nd period with a quick shot off a pass from Will Carrier (2 assists). Mark Jankowski's 3rd period goal completed the scoring and was his 4th straight game with a goal -- a career high. Jordan Martinook had an assist on the Jankowski goal for the 200th point with the Hurricanes. Carolina played without Jordan Staal (lower body injury).
